Origin of the brand name “参 mile”
For 70 years, we at SANKI SHOJI CO.,LTD. have been introducing the world's finest brands to Japan and exploring the possibilities of fashion.
The "San" (参)in our brand name is a reference to the first character of our company name, (“SAN”KI SHOJI CO.,LTD. ), expressing our passion for fashion.
In Japanese, "参" can also be read as "mile,"
the word "mile" comes from the Latin mille (thousand).
Through this name, we honor the 1,200-year history of traditional Japanese clothing culture and express our unwavering dedication to carrying its beauty forward into the future.
