Based on traditional haori tailoring patterns, each piece is carefully deconstructed and faithfully reconstructed using Western sewing techniques. The design balances elegance and durability, while the family crests are rendered in striking three-dimensional embroidery.

This collection is a collaboration with emerging Japanese artists. The backs of the haori feature bold, contemporary artworks, reviving the traditional design of the black kuromontsuki haori. All artworks are original creations exclusively for the “参mile” brand.
 
Historically, the backs of kuromontsuki haori were adorned with works by prominent artists of their time. In this collection, we collaborated with leading contemporary Japanese artists to fuse traditional craftsmanship with modern artistic expression.
